Tectonics, structural geology and geochronology
|
I’m a Lecturer in the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Wollongong. Most of my research focuses on plate tectonic processes associated with orogenesis and supercontinent break-up. My research involves a mixture of specialisations – much of this focuses on the documentation of cross-cutting magmatic, metamorphic and deformation events as well as further characterisation using petrology, geochemistry and geochronology. Most of my work in this area has been applied to understanding aspects of the evolution on West Papua, eastern Indonesia and the Himalaya.
I am also interested in the development of geologically consistent plate tectonic and paleogeographic reconstructions and 3D modelling of the subsurface. For more details please see my personal website or UOW website |
